Attention online ticket purchasers. Once you arrive at the event, please wait in the general admission lines located at 4th Street and Finnup Drive (middle or east side lines). Once you reach the front of the line, provide the ticket attendants with the name of the person who purchased the tickets online. Please note, the west side gate is for Skeleton Key passes only and you will not be granted access.
General admission tickets are available for $10 at the gate once the event starts or $5 for early bird tickets at the ticket outlets, while supplies last. The rain date is October 26th from 4 pm to 8 pm. Tickets are nonrefundable.

An Unforgettable Halloween Adventure for the Whole Family
The spooky season is creeping in, and Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo invites you to the most thrilling Halloween event in town! Get your costumes ready because the 29th annual "Boo! at the Zoo" is back on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. This spine-tingling celebration promises an evening of family-friendly fun for all ages, and you won't want to miss it!
🎃👻🎉To ensure a fun and comfortable environment for all families, we kindly remind adults to choose family-friendly costumes that are not overly scary, bloody, or gory. Let’s keep the focus on creating a safe and enjoyable experience for younger children attending the event. We appreciate your cooperation in making this a spook-tacular time for everyone!

Feeling hungry? Don't fret! The Safari Shoppe’s special “Boo Stop” located on 5th & Finnup has you covered with delicious Frankenweenies (hot dogs), chilling flavors of Dippin' Dots ice cream, and a variety of snacks and beverages.

Early birds rejoice! Grab your general admission tickets at the discounted price of $5.00 per person (Children aged two (2) years and under get in for free) All tickets go on sale Friday, September 13th through October 19 or until they run out at these select locations: El Remedio Market, Ward’s Garden Center, Lee Richardson Zoo, and online at www.folrz.org.
(No tickets will be sold at the Zoo on October 19th. Online ticket sales are available at www.folrz.org until noon on Friday, October 18. Online tickets will not be mailed. To redeem, simply wait in either general admission line until you reach the entrance and give the gate attendant the name of the person who purchased the tickets online.)
Please call or email any questions about online ticket purchases before noon on October 18, as we will not have staff available to answer phone calls or emails then.

Hogwarts Express (zoo train) and Wizarding Wheel (zoo carousel): sponsored by Dairy Farmers of America: Dive into the wizarding world of Harry Potter by purchasing a passage on the “Hogwarts Express” Zoo train or the “Wizarding Wheel” Zoo Carousel. Fight off dementors as the train winds through the Dark Forest or cast magical spells on the Wizarding Wheel. Passes are $5 each and can only be purchased once inside the event. (One ride per person, on either the train or carousel is included with Skeleton Key)

Skeleton Key Passes: Exclusively available for members with a family/grandparent membership or higher-level membership, these passes grant access to the Haunted Hayride, a journey on the Hogwarts Express or the Wizarding Wheel, and a VIP entrance, bypassing the general admission line. Hurry, these coveted passes are limited and sell out quickly! Prices are $15 each for children ages 3-12 and $20 for young adults and the young at heart (ages 13 and over). Skeleton Key passes are sold exclusively through the Friends’ office.
Don't forget, "Boo! at the Zoo" is not just about thrills; it's a fundraiser supporting improvements at the Lee Richardson Zoo and their mission to promote education and conservation activities that will foster an appreciation and understanding of wildlife and their habitats.
