Safari Shoppe

Snack & Gift Shop

Located just inside the Ben Grimsley entrance arches, the Safari Shoppe offers a selection of t-shirts, books, animal-themed toys and other gifts.  Also serving as the zoo’s hospitality house, breakfast items, sandwiches, popcorn, pretzels and churros can be found here daily.  Feel free to contact the gift shop with any questions you may have: 620-276-2661.

Stroller Rentals

Rent strollers, wagons and wheelchairs here during operating hours.   

Safari Cycles

Safari Cycles offer a fun new way to see the zoo.  Cycles are permitted throughout the zoo drive-thru and are rented by the hour.  Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo members receive a 10 percent discount and also receive a punch card to earn free rentals.  

Hours of Operation:
March, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (weekends only)

April 1 - Labor Day, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Day after Labor Day – Halloween, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
